2016 District Conference

The 2016 5490 District Conference was held May 12-15 at the Carefree Resort in Carefree. A number of our club members attended activities throughout the weekend. Peoria North Rotary Club received two awards during the Saturday morning session -- one for membership gains made during the past year, and one for meeting district goals pertaining to contributions to the foundation. A special highlight of the conference was a book drive created and coordinated by Willi Wheeler. Willi collected 1,000 children's books that will be distributed to students in Title 1 schools.
