Peoria North Rotary Club hosts annual wine fundraiser
The Peoria North Rotary Club will hold its fourth annual Peoria North Rotary Wine Classic fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 15.
The event begins 6 p.m. and will be held at Arrowhead Country Club, 19888 N. 73rd Ave., Glendale.
All proceeds from the event support Peoria North Rotary Club Foundation’s charitable contributions locally and throughout the world. The foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization.
The club is the sponsor of the annual Prom Closet, an event that provides formal attire free of charge to area high schools students. The club also supports the Peoria Unified School District, Rotary
International’s campaign to eradicate polio worldwide and numerous other charities.
The theme for this year’s event is “Let’s Tango.” Entertainment will be provided by Bobby Freeman, organist for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Tickets are $100 per person and includes a special four-course meal and wine pairings. Tickets may be purchased online at Eventbrite.com or by calling 206-423-5593.
