Another note from Belinda "on the road" as she visits Rotary Clubs while on vacation in Switzerland:
"I went and visited another club nearby. This club is the Rotary Club Aarau-Alpenzeiger. This was a field trip to the Swiss Army recruitment center located in Aarau. We were given a guided tour and were informed as to the process of what occurs with all the new soldiers when they get to the center. In Switzerland every man serves in the army. Kind of like a National Guard.
"Had an absolute blast! Very friendly and welcoming evening. You can see we drank wine, our food was prepared in the mess hall and we ate our stew out of the tin that the soldiers use. When John comes over, we head to Zurich for a meeting there. I will most likely join this group again for their regular meeting."
