The club recognized its first Peoria Unified School District Students of the Month for the new school year during a special ceremony held Sept. 22 in the cafeteria at Centennial High School. Club President Steve Matthews and member Dave Evans presented the students with a $100 stipend and notice of a wheelchair to be presented in their name to a disabled citizen in Mexico.
