Peoria North Rotary Club members marked Peace Week by taking time Sept. 18 to paint their own, individualized Peace Rocks. Members chose quotes to adorn the rocks, which they will place throughout the community in an effort to promote peace and conflict resolution. Sept. 21 has been declared by Rotary as International Day of Peace.
