Several members of the Peoria North Rotary Club attended District Governor Jim Schmidt's installation ceremony held June 14 at the Mesa Country Club. Jim is a member of the Rotary Club of Mesa West and will serve as the District 5495 Governor in 2025-26. Outgoing Governor Michelle Holcomb presented Jim with the traditional District Governor "World in his Hands" trophy and Jim gave Michelle the traditional "boot." He will be followed by Joe Sweeney (2026-27) and Colleen Coons (2027-28). During the event, PNRC incoming President Darlene Eger presented a brief update the club's Prom Closet service project. |
