Peoria North Rotary Club officially installed its board for 2021-22 during the club's annual Commotion Celebration June 23.
 
Sharee Sheets takes over as president of the club, and will succeed outgoing President Jason Braunstein.
 
Vernon Bridges will serve as president-elect and take over as president in 2022-23. Vernon also remains as club secretary for the next year.
 
Tammy Sabinsky will serve again as treasurer.
 
Steve Matthews will serve as Foundation chair and Jason as our Youth Chair for 2021-22.
 
Club member and Assistant Governor Lou Rotundo officially swore in Sharee as club president.
 
Outgoing President Jason provided a recap of the club's year. Despite the pandemic, which forced the club to meet virtually for the entire year, the club was still able to serve the community in a variety of ways. Among the projects supported by the club during the past year:
 
* Navajo Water Project
* Dictionaries to students in the Peoria Unified School District
* Contributed funds that allowed PUSD to purchase computers for students
* Supported a project placing wreaths on the graves of veterans during the holidays.
* Back to School Clothing Drive and the stuffing/donation of 1,000 student backpacks
